Can someone carry a shotgun in a vehicle on a military instillation?

Like here in Texas you can have a shotgun in your vehicle, but what about in FT. Hood, TX. The military is in charge there but doesn't Texas Constitution overrule the military policies. I have read on the policy letters that weapons are not allowed in the barracks but Iv heard nothing about POV's.
