Final topic paper. Please help!?

Hi people! Ok so im homeshooled and for my final topic in vocab. I have to write 2-3 papers on arachnophobia. They said "Be sure your paper includes information about the etymology, Latin elements, and the current uses of the word." But I thought the word arachnophobia was Greek? So can soemone please tell me how it would be Latin, and what do they want me to write about, how its in our language today or its elements and etymology? Please Help I olny have till next week.
