Rock N Roll novel??????????????????

i'm trying to write a story and compose it into a real novel. i want to make it about rock n roll music because i want to be a rockstar really bad. i play guitar. but i don't want my story to be exactly about a boy trying to become a rockstar. unless there is more to the story then just that. well my favorite bands are, Nirvana, black sabbath, AC DC, metallica, led zeppelin, foo fighters, judas priest, alice in chains. but i'm extremely inspired by kurt cobain. well what do you think i could make a story about? please help me think of ideas for a storyline
