What is a healthy evening snack?

I am trying very hard to eat healthy. I try not to eat just before bed but if I'm hungry when I go to bed I can't sleep unless I'm really tired. I have a hard time falling asleep anyway so being hungry doesn't help. So I usually get up and eat a little something. My usual daytime snacks are an apple with peanut er, boiled egg, south beach bar, g nuts or almonds. Those things all give you energy though don't they? So I need something that will stop the hunger pangs but not rev me up. Thanks for any ideas.
