How to gain more weight and be more confident?

I am 13 years old. I am about 5'8 and I weigh only like 100. I've always been skinny like that. Behind all the bones are weak muscle, but I see it. There is a lot of muscle in me but I just need more meat on the bones. My dad is huge muscle wise and he is always getting on me because of my build and it gets me very agrivated. Throughout my years at school, I really never wear T-Shirts. I only wear like sweatshirts and thats it and alot of ppl notice. My dad is going to get me member ship to his gym and I used to go there alot, but for some reason I just don't go anymore. I know that deep down if I want to stop being skinny and hating myself for it, then all I need to do is go to the gym, but for some reason I just don't go. I am thinking of starting over and sucking it up, and take a couple of hours out of my day every single day and start getting muscular, plus, I am going to get a new diet and force myself to eat more, I have never been one to eat much. What are any tips or help to get me back into shape? What should my diet consist of? And what kind of exercises should I be more focusing on? (I am pretty bony every where and I want to cover that up with muscle) Thanks for your time and help.

usually a good wrestler is short in combat sports like the UFC, and most power lifters are like 5'6-5'8 because they are powerful and don't have to move their limbs very far to push the weight. are guys around this size just more well suited to being a wrestler or a weightlifter? I am 5'11 myself and can beat up my friends who are like 6'2, but the ones around 5'7 or 5'9 are just so damn strong!

Should I hold on to this 8V head unit?

Eclipse cd8445 is the head unit I paid well for a few years ago. I got it for a few different features but mainly the 8V factor that the audio techs insisted necessary. Heard the newer Eclipse units were not as good (would like to keep whole system eclipse) as the old but some new features like front aux or usb would be cool. Anyway, my question really boils down to-- Is the voltage on the head unit that necessary in case I change it out? Why am I losing hair?

Im a 19 yr old male who weighed 215 and now weigh 165. I recently lost about 60 pounds during the summer(in about 2 months) by drastically cutting down what I ate but didn't notice any thinning of the hair until September or early October. I may have hyperthyroidism aswell. Since then I have been taking vitamins and eating pretty healthy but my hair still falls out and has become inceasingly thin on top of my head. Is this male pattern baldness or from weightloss? When will my hair start growing back and are there any suggestions as to what this may be?

i started being bulimic age 13, (now 21) was hospitalized and went through treatment at age 18 and was able to abstain for a while, but as time ped i soon reverted back to my familiar habits. i know that eating disorders among 30 yr olds and up are very uncommon. it is usually seen in 15-20 yr olds. (around that age) my umption is that in time the more important things in life take over and you slowly lose your disordered eating habits. How does the theory of evolution explain how humanity has such strong intellect?

How can we be without a threat in this world, aside from one another, disease, and the like. We are essentially plagues to our planet. What evolutionary mechanism allows for such unnecessarily strong brain power? It doesnt seem very consistent with the idea of evolution for our species to be so far above the rest of the dangers of the world. No life has made such strides in evolution as to become essentially immune. All lifes evolutionary advantage has only set them a single step ahead, helping them against nature, but not giving them the capacity to subdue it completely. How does evolution explain our ability to resist nature so resiliently? Our abilities are unnecessarily strong and far beyond the needs of evolution.

do pushups with a loaded backpack on. strap it on tight so it doesnt flop around. when you are doing pushups with your own wieght, it is hard to be able to do them for longer because you are only doing strength stuff. then, the next morning, stretch and use 10-20 lb dumbells in both hands and do as many bench press type things you can do without stopping. This will help your endurance. On friday, you will think you weigh 5 lbs. Just do more backpack pushups whenever you aren't doing something urgent. remember to stretch a lot. and like the other people said, rest on thursday. you want AT LEAST 24 hours before you do another pushup on friday. You should really wait 48, but youre crunched for time. Just do a lot of arm stretches. Crunches and situps will also help because your abs will get tired in the middle. Do some backpack pushups where you rest on your elbows for as long as possible.

Bad alternator on Mitsubishi Mirage?

My friend's 1999 Mitsubishi Mirage has been idling rough for the last couple days, (after filling up with gas) and has occasionally been stalling while idling - I ume it was bad gas. Now (I ume it's unrelated) it fails to start - at first it clicked, now it doesn't do anything. The battery is only a couple months old. I checked the connection, poured coke on it, etc. I'm uming the only thing left is the alternator (or rarely, a draining short) - am I correct?

Suprisingly they are in, you just need to know how to pull them off. deffinitly dont go for a cheap material. i recomend i casmere nice turtle neck. make sure to wear it in a darker color no pastells. always looks great with dark jeans or a skirt

Well, I have an larger older dog that everyone loves. She is really mellow too. My chi mix is another story. Many people have tried to like him but he won't have it, you have to be accepted by Mr. Peabody or I have to hold him when people are over, very protective! just thought I would give you a heads up; for the most part you are only guaranteed a Field and the needs of the Marine Corps will pick which job you get. If you want to be an MP you can be guaranteed 5800 but its not until later in training you will find your job out. If the Corps needs dog handlers you may just get dog handler. If they need Brig Guards then you will be a Brig Guard. A lot of guys came into boot camp thinking they were guaranteed a specific job until we took our orders cles at the end. My advice is find a field you are truly interested in so you know where ever your put you will be happy.

Use an oil-based moisturizer on your hands and face. You can also mage a little olive, almond, walnut, or coconut oil into your cat's fur. The dryness of winter air makes this problem worse and I have a Van mix also (his name is Rusty but I call him Pumpkin Head a lot) and I have the same issues with his fur, but not the Coon's or the domestic short hairs'. If you groom your cat, use a natural bristle brush and not a metal or plastic tooth/comb.

Go to a shop that repairs windshields on cars, and find out the type of epoxy that they use to fix windshields. Superglue will not do it. There is glue that is used to glue rear view mirrors to the windshield of cars, that might work, and I believe that it is clear, but ask at an automobile parts store and make sure. You can purchase glue that is specifically for gl, but it did not work very well on crystal ornaments.

so this is my third pregnancy and i never fell before my two daughters were in there room and i had tucked them so they could go to sleep and i was in my room on the left side of the bed just lying down since i was so tired on the right side of the bed there was a 2 Lg bags bags of clothes christmas present and my oldest daughter comes inside the room slamming the door yelling that my 2 yr old was choking on something had something in her mouth i did not think i got scared and tried to jump the bags on the right side so i could get there faster since the door was close to the right side of the bed but my feet got stuck and landed straight in my stomach i could not get up for a bit but then i felt no pain or nothing but the next day i had so much pain in my back on my sides of the stomach my arms i called kaiser to get a nurse advice and said there were going to call they haven't yet. should i go to the doctors. Anyways there was nothing wrong with my 2 yr my oldest thought she was choking cause she was coughing and had something in her mouth

Dont be scared or nervous, try it off the harness and practise it off ice. work on core streanth excersises and off ice training (does your club have regular or occasional off ice cles?). any ways good luck on your axel, your not weird and im sure there are many more people out there not able to use a harness, whatever it is.

Why does my car keep stalling out?

I recently bought a 1987 Mustang and it keeps stalling out. It starts just fine but when it idles it starts to sputter and acts like it's going to stall out. When I was younger I was "chubby" girl and got mad fun of pretty bad. I was really tall when I was 12 so that didn't really help because I got made fun of that too. (I'm 17 now and 5'11 and 120 pounds). So, I went anorexic. I lost about 30 pounds in a month and a half. I realized what I was doing was pretty stupid. So, I started eating again but I had the same problem you have. I would starve myself then eat like crazy. I got pretty bad. But, if you plan out what your going to eat through out the day it really does help. Try only eating "trash" food one day a week. Like Friday or Saturday. And if you get hungry try eating a piece of fruit or something along those lines. I hope this helps. It worked for me. I don't eat junk food during the week. And if I do get hungry between meals I get a light healthy snack. I only eat bad on Fridays and I have kept my weight where I want it to be. Try doing yoga, it tones up your body and its not that hard to do.

4 1/2 month old baby boy?

my son is now 4 1/2 months old. He is generally a happy baby. but sometimes it seems like when he is upset he really gets upset. like screaming that hurts the ear. I know today he did it when he got over tired. and he fought sleep for two hours. but everytime i try let him nap he only naps on me. never alone. and if i lay him down he cries five mins later like im hurting him. lately he has been really fighting sleep. he wont take his nuk. its like he knows that i want him to sleep. but if i let him stay awake he will miss a nap and then really let me have it. its to the point i cant really enjoy myself anywhere but home cuz of his crying. its very harsh sounding and the doctors already ruled out colic. now he has been sleeping through the night since about two months old. which i am blessed with. and his schedule usually goes wakes up between 6-730 a bottle of formula and rice cereal on the side. awake for about an hour very happy. then as soon as nap time comes about a half hour later he fights it. but eventually loses and falls asleep but i have to hold him or he wont sleep at all. then wakes up around 930 plays for a bit. 1030 a bottle and then an hour later a nap. 130 a bottle and i just recently started him on applesauce. doctor said it was okay. he is over 16 lbs now and almost 5 months. then a nap. his naps can last from 15 min-30 min. sometimes an hour and then another bottle at 430/500 and then try bed by 8 but fights it very hard. so hes usually out around 9 930. i just need some guidence. now i know im supposed to get on a schedual and its hard right now. im working. my fiance is working and they are diff schedules and not everyone follows the schedule and sometimes he doesnt. and yes i do give him a bath to calm him down before bed but it doesnt work. ive done about everything i can. and i just want to know if this is a faze. how long will it last. i just want my baby boy to be happy. and i know he is. but i hate seeing him cry like that. i just need some motherly advice and this is my first baby. thank you

Why do people like Robert Plant's singing so much? And why do people like him better than Freddie Mercury? I mean, I love some of Led Zep's songs, but Robert Plant's singing is horrendous. All he does is scream and yell, and mostly with a hoarse voice. People say he sings better than Freddie Mercury, while Freddie Mercury can hit extremely high notes with perfect and clean precision, while Plant has to scream or yell to get notes out. I just don't see how somebody with a near perfect voice and range, can said to be better than somebody as horrible as Robert Plant. So when my son had his we laid him on the other side.. Or on his back. Also Infants Tylenol works wonders because it helps to calm the pain. My pediatrician also recommended that if he has a hard time falling to sleep, even with the tylenol, then liquid childrens benadryl is ok To give for them to get some rest. I play the recorder and baritone but I want to learn...?

Anyways, I've been doing a few tracking methods (with the exception of BBT). I've been keeping track of my CM and cervix. The night before last, cervix was low and firm. CW was mildly sticky and creamy. Yesterday, it was still creamy and mildy stretchy. cervix low and firm. Today, CM was clear and slippery, although not really stretchy. Cervix was higher up and softer. Anyways, my wild guess is that I'm ovulating today (calendar predicts Dec. 13th so this isn't too far off). I have BD'd on 12/5, 12/6, 12/7, 12/9/, 12/10 and this early morning on 12/14. Now that I'm almost sure I'm ovulating, is it okay to BD again tonight, or should I wait because I have heard that having every day can decrease sperm count? What do you guys think? How do I properly filter water? I live in NYC. Supposedly the state of New York, or NYC has one of the cleanest water in the country. I basically boil the water from the sink and then let it cool before I leave it in the refrigerator. Any tips I can better improve the taste or filtration of my water? I have a little weird water taste while drinking it, but it taste like water foundain. I read water in bottles, they add some chemical to remove that iron type taste. Hyundai Engine Sludge?

My Mother has a 2003 Hyundai Elantra. Recently she told me that the Oil light comes on when she turns and stops and then when she keeps driving it shuts off. Well, I opened the hood and checked the dipstick, nothing on it. The car isn't leaking so I opened the cap and the oil looks like it has mud in it and Its watery. So I put a quart in to see what that did, no avail. The problem has worsened and the light will come on more frequently since I checked it 2 days ago. Should I just do an oil change? Ahhh it's so hard to choose. I am partial to the black ones, cause I absolutely did not want a black one and ended up getting one and I absolutely love him. The humane society I got mine from said that they take longer to adopt, because of superstition, there is also an entire month that most humane societies will not let black cats be adopted. I was just afraid I'd step on him in the dark(which I do). Keep in mind a black cat should not be an outdoor cat because of psychos out there and they can't be seen easily.

A turbo oil pump for the Mazda Speed3?

I was wondering about something on my 08 Mazda Speed3 - does it have an oil pump? I know on the new Mini Cooper S's their is a pump that continues to run after the engine has been shut off [you can distinctly hear it run]. This truly eliminates the need of a turbo timer. I looked through my owners manual for the answer - it only recommends to idle the engine for 30seconds to a minute after running the turbo hard. So I'm wondering if the Speed3 has this feature?

If someone is pretty white how long before they start to burn? Hi, I just picked up a used four foot long, four slot, fluorescent ballast free on Craigslist. One of the sockets is damaged. I know it's a T12 ballast, what type of replacement socket would I need? Also, it's clear that it used to be hardwired, how would I go about wiring it to a cord that I could just plug into a standard 120v wall socket? If you are at all involved in a church you could ask the priest if he would preside over a non-church ceremony. It won't be a catholic wedding since it is not in a church but that could make your family happy. It is kinda hard to find a priest to do that though. You could also tell them that whatever location you have having the ceremony at is just incredibly special to the two of you and it just wouldn't be the same anywhere else. I told my family I catholic wedding would involve to much paperwork since I am marrying a lutheran and they went along with that, not sure if it will work for you though.

During Christmas, allow yourself to eat some goodies, and just keep exercising! Try to increase your time, tempo, or resistance on the elliptical to burn more calories.
