Can anybody help offer any opinions or personal experiences to these USMC jobs? ?

just thought I would give you a heads up; for the most part you are only guaranteed a Field and the needs of the Marine Corps will pick which job you get. If you want to be an MP you can be guaranteed 5800 but its not until later in training you will find your job out. If the Corps needs dog handlers you may just get dog handler. If they need Brig Guards then you will be a Brig Guard. A lot of guys came into boot camp thinking they were guaranteed a specific job until we took our orders cles at the end. My advice is find a field you are truly interested in so you know where ever your put you will be happy.
