Filing abandonment charges?

I can't say that you can "press charges" for abandonment. But you can certainly go after him for child support. You will have to wait until the divorce is final before you can know how much child support is owed. The court will determine that by how much he earns. You will probably receive a percentage of his earnings for child support.
