Military Bible inscription?

I have bought a Bible to send to the troops overseas. I am not a super religious person, but I feel that comfort can come from reading the Bible. In the front there is a section where I can write an note for whoever will get the Bible (I am unsure who will). I want to write something that will hopefully touch them deeply but am unsure of what to write. Does anyone have any ideas? Any past military people that can offer advice of what they needed to hear the most while overseas? Thank you so much!
