Santa Clause is watching...thoughts?

Just curious other parents thoughts on this....Does anyone think its wrong that we threaten our children with I'm telling Santa or Santa's watching? I mean Christmas is about so much more than freaking the kiddies out... For those who believe that Xmas is Christ's birthday, shouldn't we focus more on that? Not bashing on anyone because to each their own...But I feel like such a liar when I say it... Thoughts?
