Hair problems with heating iron!!!! help!!!?

My HAIR is naturally super super curly! I tried straightening it and it looked really cute...so i kept this up for about 2 mon. almost everyday straightening it. I didn't see the problem...i mean i started using this spray to protect it. well....my hair started breaking at the top and becoming frizzy. My mom said I have to wear it curly till it gets back to normal! I hate it curly but when i straiten it it is so ba for your hair especially curly hair! Please i need either ideas on cute ways to put my hair UP with curly hair or ideas to get the breakage form stop breaking! Someone please help! Thanks a lot and God bless!
