Please help...do 's only want one night stands?

Yes I'm a , still learning the scene. I was out with another girl nothing serious and ended up meeting this other girl last night at a bar and WOW when we made eye contact it was like indescribable. (I dropped my friend off to her car and went back to see this other girl) I got there she got us a drink and then we went back to her friends house and well yeah we slept together (i did more of the giving). I have never had a one night stand before with a women. We woke up this morning and I was like well this is kinda odd so I'm going to get going. I really didn't want to though, cuz she is HOT. So as I left she said I'll talk to you later, I said okay. I ended up sending her a text later in the day saying, Hi there. I had a good time last night. I'd like to take you out to dinner sometime. If that's okay with you, let me know?" Could this work (would it take a few days maybe)? Do you think it was a one night thing for her or maybe it could develop into more? The only thing standing out is the eye connection we had was absolutely amazing! (that's what has me confused too) Lastly do you find most 's only want one night stands?
