Psychics please answer this question?

I've been acquainted with a certain guy since I was about 15/16. There was always this buzz, I'd feel someone staring and look around and meet his gaze. I was drawn to the attraction but the intensity scared me at the same time. I eventually made a move, and we actually met for the first time recently after communicating on and off for about a year. I consider myself a very independent person but I feel as if he has my emotions on a string, I've tried to deny the effect he has on me and walk away from the situation entirely but something always pulls me back. I was told that we were together in a long-happy relationship in a previous life and it is that energy that is affecting me. Im now just tired of feeling so unsure and up and down emotionally. Also, I think he might be in love with someone. If we are suppose to be together, its about time it happens, if not, I wish to just free myself of this binding energy, and move on for good. Is he aware of the effect he has on me?
