First...Roe vs Wade was about privacy rights. Q#1 no they were not. Q#2 Both were considered moderates at the time. Nixon's great "liberal moment " was his traveling to China. This was considered a radical move at the time. Nixon was a paradox as president, intelligent about many things but really dumb about Americans. In the end he was honorable enough to resign in disgrace. A sad chapter in American history.
